Presidency University organised its first International Moot Court Competition in collaboration with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). The three-day event welcomed 44 teams from prestigious law schools across India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.

Participants competed through multiple courtroom rounds, including preliminary, quarterfinal, semifinal, and final stages. The competition was evaluated by 53 experienced judges comprising senior advocates, legal professionals, academicians, and law firm partners.

Students gained valuable experience in legal drafting, courtroom advocacy, legal research, argument presentation, and professional networking. The event strengthened practical legal education while encouraging analytical thinking, teamwork, and ethical legal practice.
