The Ministry of Education recognised Presidency University as a Nodal Centre for Virtual Labs, enabling students to access advanced digital laboratories, online experiments, interactive learning resources, and remote practical education across engineering and science disciplines.

Presidency University became a Nodal Centre for Virtual Labs under the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Supported by NIT Karnataka, the initiative enhances digital education by providing students with remote access to laboratory experiments and advanced learning resources.
The Virtual Labs platform offers online practical sessions, simulation-based experiments, video lectures, self-assessment modules, interactive presentations, and learning management system (LMS) support. Students can perform experiments virtually while accessing educational content developed by premier institutions, including IITs, IIIT Hyderabad, NIT Karnataka, and other leading engineering institutes.
This initiative strengthens practical learning, improves accessibility to laboratory infrastructure, and encourages technology-driven education, ensuring students gain industry-relevant technical knowledge regardless of physical laboratory limitations.
